CrozzWord: File: Open (local)

You can access several sample puzzles, or .puz files synced or saved to local system; or .zip files [Reg users].

  1. File: Open
  2. category: select Local Directory from top menu
  3. host:
    Samples
    several built-in sample puzzles
    Other
    navigate to a directory with .puz or .zip files
    "Document" directory
    Zaurus: /home/root/Documents/application/ (Internal, CF, SD)

    Mac: /Documents/

  4. site: select a subfolder ([Reg] or .zip file) containing .puz files
  5. puzzle: after a list of puzzles appears, select a specific file (1st is default).
  6. select Open button to use that puzzle.

It is possible to set a local host or site(subfolder) as a Startup preference: Favorites: Startup

CrozzWord can be started with a local puzzle, on some platforms (and this overrides the Startup preference):

after launching CrozzWord, use Open With, Other, Show All Applications, CrozzWord

initially: right click .puz, Open With, Choose Program, Other, \Program Files\CrozzWord\CrozzWord.exe
later: doubleclick .puz, if you set "Always use this program to open these files"; otherwise, right click, Open With, "Launch Anywhere GUI"
