Tap i:Help to view this document as an embedded help book
Tap Reset to return to default settings.
adjust Frequency, Amplitude, Damping, Mass and/or Spring constant, and see what happens
Display Refresh controls animation speed
(hint: increasing Amplitude is easiest way I know of to "break" the spring)
NewtonScript version of Sproing is based on ZetaLisp code (Symbolics 3600) from an electronic encyclopedia project at Atari for investigating interactive learning environments in the mid 1980's.
Sproing created with NewtDevEnv; it's 1.x/2.x compatible, but works best on a MP2K in portrait orientation. Help book created from this HTML document by Newt's Cape.
Version 1.0 (9 Mar 1998)
Sproing is freeware, and may be distributed freely as long as all of the files are included and unmodified.
